Travel information

The nearest airport to The Mayflower is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Coast2Coast staff strongly recommend that attendees avoid booking return flights earlier than 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 7, 2027, as congressional meetings may run until 4 p.m. ET that day.

Capitol Hill meeting participation notices

While the intention is for every participant to attend a Capitol Hill meeting, congressional schedules along with space and time restrictions make that impractical, and in certain circumstances, impossible.
  • Participation in Capitol Hill meetings is designed primarily for board members, superintendents and senior leaders to engage directly with policymakers and guests holding those positions will be prioritized for meeting attendance when not all parties can be accommodated.
  • If space is at a premium, LEAs with larger delegations may be asked to identify a maximum of three representatives to participate in congressional meetings on behalf of the LEA.
  • Executive assistants are welcome to participate in the conference experience; however, they will not be scheduled for congressional meetings.
  • Final congressional meeting schedules are subject to congressional office availability and other scheduling considerations.

We encourage all participants to take advantage of the many advocacy and informational opportunities throughout Coast2Coast in order to extract significant value from the program, even if the unlikely occurs and delegation size or scheduling circumstances prevent an individual attendee from meeting with their representative or congressional staff.

Notices and Code of Conduct

Please review the Notices, Code of Conduct and Release of Liability. Please note that all attendees will be required to sign the Release of Liability at check-in. Direct all cancellation and refund requests to register@csba.org.
