Amy Christianson has been involved in the business, education and political fields for over two decades. She has worked in education since 1994, most recently as executive director of the California Community Colleges Association for Occupational Education, California School Boards Association Masters in Governance faculty and was the co-owner of Beacon Results, a management consulting firm that specialized in strategic planning, leadership development and community engagement/relations.
As a respected leader, coach and facilitator, Christianson has a passion for creating a structure of support for organizations and students that inspires excellence, helping her clients to break through the personal barriers that block successful growth. Her work empowers people of all ages and walks of life, from high school students to senior corporate executives and veteran educators, to produce the results that satisfy the desire to make a difference in the world.
Christianson holds a master’s degree in teaching and learning with technology from Ashford University and is a graduate of California State University, Chico, with a bachelors of arts degree in Liberal Studies. She is currently in her third four-year term as a trustee on the Butte County Board of Education.
