Tami Gunther
Director, Region 9, Atascadero USD
Tami Gunther, board member in Atascadero Unified School District, is the Region 9 Director of the California School Boards Association. She was elected to the Board of Directors in 2013 and represents San Luis Obispo, Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties.
Elected to the Board of Trustees of the Atascadero Unified School District in 2006, Gunther has served as both Board Clerk and Board President. She has been an active volunteer in Atascadero schools for more than 15 years, serving on the School Site Councils, Advisory Committee, WASC Accreditation, Superintendent's Budget Advisory Committee, Facilities Committee and Wellness Committee.
As a member of CSBA, Gunther has been on the Delegate Assembly for the past four years and on the Linked Learning Task Force. She has presented at CSBA's Annual Conference on how to build a coalition and participated in CSBA's Legislative Action Days as an attendee and panel presenter.
Gunther and her husband have two daughters, both of whom are currently attending college.
