Suzanne Kitchens

Suzanne Kitchens, a board member in the Pleasant Valley School District in Ventura County, is the Region 11 Director of the California School Boards Association representing Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
Kitchens has served as a board member since 2000, twice as board president, and is a past-president and former treasurer of the Ventura County School Boards Association. She has been very active in CSBA. She has presented at CSBA’s Annual Education Conference and Trade Show, and has been a validator for CSBA’s Golden Bell Awards.
In her local community, Kitchens has been active in the Camarillo Academic Olympics and the Community Commission for Ventura County. She is the past president of the Camarillo PTA council and a volunteer with Women in History.
Kitchens holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in business, both from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She and her husband have three adult daughters.
