Juliana Feriani

uliana Feriani, a board member on the Tuolumne County Office of Education, is the 2015 President for the California County Boards of Education and currently serves on the California School Boards Association Board of Directors. She has been serving on the CCBE Board of Directors and the CSBA Delegate Assembly since March 2004.
Feriani is an active CCBE member and has served as co-chair on the CCBE Conference Planning Committee, on the CSBA Conference Planning Committee and the Policy Platform Review Committee in 2012 and served as a member of the Small Schools Districts Council in 2008.
Feriani was elected to the Tuolumne County Office of Education Board of Trustees in 1999 and has served as board president for four terms and board clerk for two. She has served on the bylaws committee, the superintendent's salary committee and the TCBOE scholarship committee.
Feriani is an advocate for boardsmanship training at the county and district level as well as a strong advocate for health care for students. She served on the BOB Van (Mobile Health Services for Schools) BOD, and serves on the Tuolumne County Health Advisory Committee and the Immunize Tuolumne County Committee. Feriani has a master’s degree in English Literature. When not working within her role in county education, she and her husband are the business owners of Feriani Construction. Feriani and her family reside in Tuolumne, CA.
