Cindi Clinton
Director, Region 3, Novato USD
Cindi Clinton, a board member in the Novato Unified School District, is the Region 3 Director of the California School Boards Association, representing Marin, Napa, Solano and Sonoma counties. She was elected to the Board of Directors in 2009.
Clinton has served on the board of trustees for the Novato Unified School District since 1995 and has worked as an advocate for schools and a strong voice for children. She has participated in several district committees addressing legislative issues, communication, policy development, curriculum and fiscal management. In addition, she has been active in the Marin County School Boards Association and has worked to represent the common goals and diverse concerns of the districts in Marin County. Clinton’s hard work resulted in her being named the 2001 Marin County Trustee of the Year.
A CSBA Delegate representing Marin County for 12 years, Clinton has served on various CSBA committees and is a graduate of both CSBA’s Masters in Governance and the Masters in Boardsmanship programs.
Clinton resides in Novato; she has three grown children and two grandchildren.
