Scott Hamilton
Chief Technology Officer
Scott Hamilton joined CSBA in 2016 as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the association’s technology needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs. Hamilton brings with him more than 23 years of IT experience at large and small organizations in both the public and private sectors, including serving in a variety of senior positions at the Intel Corporation and as an IT manager for the San Juan Unified School District. In the quest to deliver the right technology solutions to capture business value, his main focus is the practical implementation of industry best practices in project, service, resource and process management to meet the needs of CSBA stakeholders.
Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Business Administration both from the University of California, Davis. He also holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner.
