Daryl F. Camp
Superintendent, Riverbank Unified School District
Dr. Daryl F. Camp is a distinguished educational leader with a remarkable track record of success. He assumed the role of superintendent of the San Lorenzo Unified School District in 2019, following seven years of exemplary leadership as superintendent of the Riverbank USD. Prior to that, Camp served as the assistant superintendent of educational services for Riverbank USD, where he significantly enhanced student learning and expanded opportunities.
Camp served on CSBA's Superintendents’ Advisory Council and was elected president of Region 7 of the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA). Recognized for his commitment to diversity and equity, he received the Valuing Diversity Award from ACSA and authored an influential article on addressing school racism.
Camp teaches in CSBA’s Masters in Governance® program and serves as a governance consultant. Leveraging his academic achievements — a bachelor’s degree Magna Cum Laude from Morehouse College, a master’s degree from California State University, Hayward, and a doctorate in educational leadership from CSU Sacramento — he brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
