Charter Schools
In the Charter Schools course, participants will become very clear about their role and responsibilities regarding authorization of county-wide Charters. We will talk about the requirements of county-wide charters, the statues around such, and you will be armed with the appropriate questions to ask when the issue of charter schools comes before your county board. You will also discuss the grounds for revoking Charters, and the implications and impacts of approving charters in your county.
