HEALTHY Study
HEALTHY Study, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, conducted a seven (7)-year national project in 42 middle schools. The study, involving over 4,600 students, sought to determine if changes in school food services, physical education classes, and health education could lower risk factors for type 2 diabetes.
