Engaging with families helps classroom learning, writes CSBA blogger

In a new CSBA blog post, Teneh Weller, executive director of High Expectations Parental Service, writes that “the most powerful relationship in a child’s education is between the family (the child expert) and the teacher (the content expert).” In her piece, Weller says asking parents “What is your vision for your child’s future?” is key to establishing that strong parent-teacher relationship and related academic success.
