Celebrating Opportunities: Presenters, panelists sought for New Mexico in April

Applications are being accepted through Jan. 12 to present breakout sessions on model programs at next year’s Celebrating Educational Opportunities for Students of All Cultures Conference. The popular event, which showcases effective education programs for underrepresented student groups, is coming to Santa Fe, New Mexico, April 29-30.

Program categories include community/parent involvement; language and achievement; use of technology; and data-driven analysis and accountability. Participants are also needed for a student panel, which will include one representative from each of the four participating states—California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas—whose state school boards associations collaborate on the annual event.

Andrea Johnson is coordinating California’s applications. Contact her at ajohnson@csba.org or 800-266-3382.
