
Ambrosia Daphne Solis
Fellow Ph.D. Student
We would like to welcome our new CSBA Fellow, Ambrosia Daphne Solis, who will work with a CSBA Policy and Programs mentor to prepare and publish on an issue of interest and value to CSBA's members. Ambrosia Daphne Solis is a Ph.D. student at UC Riverside, specializing in Educational Policy Analysis and Leadership, where she also earned her master's degree in education. Her research focuses on California school board governance in public schools. A first-generation college graduate and current sixth-grade math and science teacher, she brings together the perspectives of researcher, practitioner, and community member. She has served as a teachers' union organizer and mentor, interned with the California Department of Education, and has presented her work at state and national conferences, including AERA.
