Bob Caine brings over four decades of experience and unwavering dedication to educational leadership and governance. For 26 years, he has served as a Governance Consultant CSBA, playing a pivotal role in shaping governance practices statewide. Caine's contributions to developing the Masters in Governance® program in 1998 marked the beginning of his impactful journey in educational leadership training. He has co-developed and facilitated foundational courses such as Foundations of Effective Governance, empowering countless board members.

Caine's expertise extends to various educational initiatives, including the Orientation for New Trustees and the New Board Member Institute trainings. His CSBA Annual Education Conference presentations offer insights and best practices to educational leaders statewide.

Caine has guided over 40 governance teams throughout California as a seasoned consultant on topics like effective governance team building and board planning calendar. His collaborative approach and wealth of experience have fostered strong leadership teams in numerous school districts.

Before consulting, Caine dedicated 39 years to the Kentfield School District in Marin County, serving as superintendent for 29 years. His lifelong commitment to educational leadership and governance is evident in his belief in collaboration and collective effort for student success.
