Assist Programs is An Educator’s Best First Job®! We specialize in recruiting, clearing, and training future educators to facilitate a host of enriching activities through our During-The-Day Recess and After-School Enrichment programs at K-8 schools. Our evidence-based programs promote active play, sports-based games & activities, and positive character education, with social-emotional learning (SEL) and positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) disguised throughout. Assist’s full-service ASES and ELOP programs build a captivating experience for all age groups in the After School setting with homework assistance, daily cutting-edge STEAM and VAPA enrichment, and MVPA programs.
We provide high quality technical education to men and women who seek a rewarding career in the sheet metal and HVAC industry through our joint apprenticeship programs. The contractor members of the California Association of Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors (CAL SMACNA) and the craftperson members of the Sheet Metal, Air Rail and Transportation Unions' (SMART) work together to design, construct and maintain advanced HVAC systems for schools that place a premium on energy efficiency and enhanced indoor air quality. Our goal is to create and ensure a learning environment that is healthy, high performing and comfortable for students and teachers alike. Our pool of contractors and professional craftpersons will make all of the difference when it comes to delivering work on education facilities that is safe, on-time and within budget.
We provide a career for highly skilled craftspeople. Electrical workers receive their training through local joint apprenticeship training centers utilizing a standardized education program supported by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). This model education partnership produces a highly skilled and trained workforce equipped to meet the demands of the customer.

Recognizing the value of a robust Ethnic Studies education, JFEDLA is committed to uplifting the state’s approved Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum as well as an ever-growing collection of additional resources to support K-12 teachers in teaching about diverse, ethnic American cultures, histories, narratives, and experiences.
In 2024 National Demographics Corporation (NDC) merged with Lapkoff and Gobalet Demographic Research (LGDR). The combined firm brings together decades of demographic expertise in service to California school and community college districts. NDC pioneered work in demographic analysis, community engagement, districting and redistricting since 1979. LGDR led research into and the practice of enrollment projections and attendance area boundaries since 1979. The new NDC brings a full suite of demographic services to Elementary, Secondary and Unified School Districts, County Boards of Education, and Community College Districts. NDC guides the process, provides best-in-class tools, and helps engage and empower the community, while leaving the key policy choices to residents, staff and elected leaders. NDC’s experience includes over 600 completed projects for nearly 500 local government agencies, including enrollment studies, attendance zone realignments, Board Member trustee area redistricting, Voting Rights Act and demographic analysis, and coordination with the Census Bureau on data and geography.

We train thousands of plumbers, steamfitters, sprinklerfitters, welders and HVACR technicians in union sponsored and State and Federal Government accredited programs throughout California.
The Southern California Labor Compliance (SCLC) is committed to the enforcement of labor standards on Roofing and Waterproofing construction projects performed in the State of California. Labor compliance was one of the principal reasons for the formation of SCLC, and remains an important consideration to this day. Toward this end we monitor public and privately‐funded projects from bidding through project award and construction, always seeking to maintain fairness for all contractors. The entire structure of construction bidding rests upon a foundation of honesty and fair dealing.
Wellness Together partners with K-12 school districts to provide turn-key mental health services for students, families, and educators. Culturally competent Mental Health Specialists (MHS) take a collaborative approach with existing school staff to provide evidence-based intervention within each school’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Wellness Together offers individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention, family engagement, and social-emotional learning.
