CSBA staff and other education experts discuss 2015-16 school year

Panelists on the 2015 Back-to-School Webcast 2015 discussed a range of topics from preschool to homeless youth to math misplacement. Moderated by Vernon M. Billy, CSBA CEO & Executive Director, the webcast provided a comprehensive overview of hot topics in education for the 2015-16 academic year. Jesús Holguín, CSBA president, provided the introduction to the three-part webcast. Other panelists included CSBA’s Dennis Meyers, assistant executive director, governmental relations; Teri Burns, CSBA legislative advocate; Nancy Chaires Espinoza, CSBA legislative advocate; Leanne Wheeler, education programs consultant, California Department of Education; and Gina Dalma, special advisor to the CEO on public policy at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
