MIG Course 1 │ Monterey In Person

Foundations of Effective Governance | Setting Direction

 

Prerequisite: None

 

In Foundations of Effective Governance, develop insight into to the roles and responsibilities of the governance team and focus on the core concepts of the Masters in Governance program: trusteeship and governance.

 

In Setting Direction, learn how to create a vision that: best describes the district’s direction, focus, commitment and beliefs; engages stakeholders into the vision setting process; and focuses all efforts on student learning.

 

Pre-course Assignments

Each module will have pre-course assignments which need to be completed prior to attending. One week before the course, participants will receive the Know Before You Go eblast with materials download.

Registration fee includes materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
