Deb Dudley has served as a board member on two Lake Tahoe area school districts, the Lake Tahoe Unified School District for 2 years, and as a board member and president of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District for 8 years. During her tenure Dudley and her fellow board members developed a strategy to pass the first education enhancement bond measure in their region and later consulted with other districts on bond measures and political strategy.
Dudley is longtime school and community volunteer. She served on the board of Directors for the Squaw Valley Institute, The Lake Tahoe Music Festival, The Tahoe Tallac Cultural Arts Association, The Lake Tahoe Economic Coalition and The North Lake Tahoe Resort Association and Chamber of Commerce and the Nevada Commission on Tourism. In 2003, she was named North Lake Tahoe’s Volunteer of the year by the North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining CSBA, Dudley was the founder and CEO of HD96 LLC a Brand Strategy, Marketing and Publishing Consultancy.
Dudley’s career, volunteerism and pursuit of lifelong learning have given her an international perspective on education. Dudley worked with Asral NGO on issues related to women, children and poverty in Mongolia, as well as consulted, studied and volunteered on projects in Egypt, Bali, Peru, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, France, Ireland, Italy, and England. Dudley comes to CSBA with over 20 years of experience as a board facilitator, and strategic planning consultant, in both the private and public sectors.
