CSBA’s Forecast Webcast to Discuss Proposed State Budget’s Impact on Schools
West Sacramento, Calif. – The California School Boards Association invites members of the media to listen to its annual Forecast Webcast on Thursday, January 14, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The Webcast format will be a panel discussion of the state’s leading education and budget experts who will address the state budget crisis and its impacts on K-12 school districts and county offices of education. Following an introduction by CSBA President Frank Pugh, the panel will explore the current and future political landscapes, provide an economic outlook for the new year and discuss how the proposed state budget would impact schools.
