6 April 2016 - Assembly Bill 2401 (O’Donnell, D-Long Beach), which would provide an annual appropriation of an unspecified amount from the General Fund to the Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment program, passed the Assembly Education Committee earlier today.
6 April 2016 - Senate Bill 707, signed into law by Gov. Brown last October, prohibits a person with a valid Carry Concealed Weapon license from possessing a firearm on school grounds in California, unless he or she obtains the written permission of the school superintendent or designee.
